"A Commitment to Excellence"

Join us in Historic Gettysburg

Family-owned and operated since 1958, The Taney Corporation is a full-line manufacturer of straight, curved, and spiral stairs, as well as pre-built rails and stair parts.   Covering the Mid-Atlantic, The Taney Corporation sells to dealers, homebuilders, and stairbuilders.  We have made stairs and rails in almost every species, ranging from oak to walnut to mahogany.  We manufacture almost everything in-house, including many exotic species and custom stairs.

As a manufacturer, we like to have complete control from start to finish with our extensive product line.  Come see Old World craftsmanship mixed with production-based operations just minutes from historic Gettysburg.

Resources:

The SMA offers several educational and reference materials that can be used to prepare for this workshop. The Stair Codes Visual Interpretations booklet, for example, is designed to simplify stair code guidelines with clear graphics that illustrate technical concepts. Industry professionals can also benefit from the SMA Stair Building and Handrailing technical guides, which are often required for vocational study as they offer vital instruction on how to create safe, comfortable, and elegant stairs. These resources can ensure that you are up to date with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations—preparing you not only for this workshop, but also allowing you to build your expertise as an industry professional.
