The Stairbuilders and Manufacturers Association was proud to exhibit at IWF 2026 in Atlanta this August, joining one of the largest gatherings of the woodworking industry in North America. The show welcomed approximately 30,000 attendees from across the United States and beyond, with more than 1,000 exhibitors showcasing equipment, technology, products, and solutions for the woodworking industry.
The SMA booth provided an opportunity to introduce more industry professionals to the association, reconnect with familiar faces, and talk with companies about the work the SMA is doing to advance and strengthen the stair industry.
We were also proud to see nine SMA member companies exhibiting throughout the show. Their presence demonstrated the wide range of products, technology, equipment, and expertise SMA members bring to the woodworking industry.
One of the highlights of our time in Atlanta happened away from the show floor. Forty SMA members gathered for dinner at Amalfi Cucina & Mercato. Over fabulous Italian food, we had a chance to slow down after a busy day at IWF, catch up with longtime friends, welcome new faces, and build connections across the industry.
Events like IWF remind us that some of the most valuable opportunities happen when we simply make time to connect. Whether it was a conversation at the SMA booth, a visit with a member exhibiting at the show, or a shared meal around the dinner table, Atlanta gave us plenty of opportunities to learn more about one another and strengthen the relationships that move our industry forward.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the SMA booth, represented the association on the show floor, or joined us for dinner. We enjoyed connecting with you in Atlanta!
